Residential Dumpster Rental
What size dumpster do I need?
3-yard for a small garage clean-out (about 1 pickup load). 10-yard low boy for heavy debris like roofing tear-offs and concrete. 20-yard for kitchen and bath remodels or full clean-out. 40-yard for full demos and large multi-room projects.
How long can I keep it?
Standard rental is 7 days. Extensions are a flat daily rate. Most homeowners keep it 3–7 days.
What can't I throw in?
Hazardous waste, paint, batteries, tires, refrigerators, and propane tanks. We can usually take old appliances if the compressor is removed — call to confirm.
Will the truck damage my driveway?
We place wood boards under the rollers and rear of the container to spread the load. Concrete driveways handle it fine. Pavers and old asphalt can crack — we’ll talk through the risk before delivery.
Do I need a permit?
Only for street placement in Oakland. Driveway and private property don’t need one. We handle the permit if you need it.

How quickly can you swap a full container?
Most Oakland-area swaps happen within 24 hours. Same-day swaps are available for active sites where production would stop.
Do you handle LEED documentation?
Yes. We sort and track recyclable material, and we hand over a documented weight ticket per haul that you can submit for LEED Materials & Resources credits.
Can I use one container for concrete and mixed debris?
Better not to. Concrete is much heavier per yard than mixed C&D. A separate concrete-only container saves money on disposal and lets us recycle it.
Can you place a container on the street in Oakland?
Yes — most Oakland jurisdictions allow it with a city encroachment permit. We pull the permit for a flat fee.
Do you offer recurring billing?
Yes. Long jobs get a monthly retainer that covers a set number of swaps and a fuel surcharge cap.

Yes. Items in good shape are routed to local non-profits. Mattresses, electronics, and metals get recycled. Only what’s truly waste goes to landfill.
How is junk removal priced?
By volume — how much truck space your stuff takes. We give you a flat all-in price after a quick photo or in-person look. No hidden disposal fees, no fuel surcharges.
